1. Is there a minimum age requirement for entrants?

Yes- entrants must be 16 years of age as of race day (20/08/2011)

2. Is there a cut off time for getting entries in?

Yes – entries for the Great Pyramid Race must be in by Monday 1st August. There are NO entries accepted on the day.

3. Is there a limit to the number of runners allowed in the race?

Yes – the Environmental Protection Agency has put a cap on 175 runners. Get your entry in early!

4. Where and how do I register on the day for the race?

In the TC Bryce Building (the Great Pyramid Race History and Art Gallery) opposite Norman Park, you may register, and receive your race bag here anytime from 12:00 midday on Saturday 20th August. There will also be a runner only ‘chill out’ area located at the Gordonvale Hub.

5. Will there be a briefing held before the race?

Yes – the race director will hold a briefing for all competitors in the runner’s marquee at 2:00 pm. You will receive all the necessary details then.

6. Will water be provided on the mountain during the race?

NO – SES will have minimal water available, So you will need to be self sufficient and carry their own hydration packs.

7. Will there be marshals on the course in case I don’t know the way?

Yes – there will be plenty of marshals out on the course leading to the base and return, directing runners.

8. What time will presentations take place?

Presentations will take place on the Main Stage in Norman Park at 5:30 p.m.
